We believe that the main advantages of cold spraying are faster repairs and reduced costs associated with the reuse of ship parts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cold spraying refers to repair work performed at low temperatures, where the joining process takes place within a range of 100 \u00b0C to 500 \u00b0C. Traditional welding methods start at approximately 2,760 \u00b0C. The joining occurs due to the high velocity and shaping kinetic energy with which the powder strikes the workpiece, rather than due to high temperature, which helps prevent deformation and damage to the workpiece\u2019s metallic properties.
